Founded in 1991, Tao Heung Group has contributed herself to be the responsible corporate citizen and worked closely with a variety of charity groups and helped the needy in the community. From 2003-2010, the Group has donated a total of 27 million Hong Kong dollars to support various charity parties and community projects.
- On January 18, 2024, Tao Heung Group organized a volunteer team to participate in the event of serving hot meals to beneficiaries hosted by the Food Angel, providing support to the elderly in need of food assistance in the society.
- On December 5, 2023, the Tao Heung Group Limited has sponsored the venue of Tao Heung Museum of Food Culture to the Food Angel for the Canstruction HK 2023 Gala Luncheon, allowing over a hundred guests and elderly friends to enjoy the delicacy.
- In October 2023, Tao Heung participated in the first "UC Corporate Charity Run", promoting healthy living through sports competition and fundraising for the Salvation Army Hong Kong.
- In 2023, Tao Heung was sponsored the "Food Angel Thanksgiving Luncheon" event at Grand Ballroom. This event was held by the Food Angel.
- In 2023, Tao Heung was sponsored the "National Day Mid-Autumn Festival Bicycle Warming Event" organized by the Tai Po District Youth Network and the Immigration Department Volunteer Work Team, conveying the message of caring for the community to the public.
- With 2021 also marking the 30th anniversary of Tao Heung, we duly took the opportunity to share our happiness with the Group's loyal customers. Apart from introducing a range of anniversary food items like Dragon Boat Dumplings and Mooncakes, we also sponsored a meaningful charitable activity in June 2021. Known as Barefoot Walk Charity (赤腳慈行), the Hong Kong artist Mr. Milkson Fong (方紹聰) engaged in a 180 km trek to help supporting underprivileged children and children with intellectual disabilities.
- Since the establishment of VTC-Tao Miao Institute of Professional Development for the Catering Industry, the Group has donated a total of 24 million Hong Kong dollars to support its development. The Group has committed to invest 40 millions to support VTC which will run VTC Professional Education Centre for the Catering Industry that will open in 2012 to offer all-rounded education to the professionals in the industry.
- Tao Heung Museum of Food Culture established and solely owned by Tao Heung Group is the first "food of mankind" museum in Hong Kong and Dongguan. It is open for non-profit organizations and school free upon advanced booking.
- The Group has supported The better Hong Kong Foundation, Federation of HK GuangDong Community organization, Federation of Chung's family, Caritas Hong Kong, Po Leung Kuk, Tung Wa Group of Hospitals, Hong Kong Red Cross, etc., which to help the needy in the community.
- The Group has invested heavily in supporting the development of 5s in order to offer the well-qualified environment for customers.
- From 2006 to 2010, the Group has donated HK$600,000 to sponsor "Tao Heung Innovative Entrepreneur Award" organized by the City Junior Chamber.
- As one of the leading catering group, the Group is spare no effort for the development of catering industry by supporting Association of Restaurant Managers, Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades and Catering Trade Joint Club.
- The Group has sponsored over HK$200,000 to The Hong Kong Management Association to support a variety of training and academic programs.
- The Group has supported various community and festive campaigns. The Group sponsored Cheung Chau Da Jiu Festival and Chinese New Year Night Parade in 2004.
- In 2010, the chairman, Mr. Chung Wai Ping leaded the team to join Run-up Two IFC Charity Race to run from the ground level to finish on 88th floor.
- Since 2008, the top executives of the Group also have taken part in supporting the charity projects including Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon and participated in Walk to GuangZhou organized by "Sowers Action" in 2004.
- Children are our hope of the future so that the Group has built 3 schools for the underprivileged students in impoverished regions through working hands-in-hands with the Project Hope.
- The Group has raised approximately HK$630,000 to support the affected people in Sichuan Earthquake Relief, devastating typhoon in Taiwan and massive Qinghai Earthquake and the flooding in western China.
- In 2005, the Group has raised approximately HK$3 millions for the victims of Asian Tsunami by donating cash coupons through charity sales.
